This year marks the 5th anniversary of the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando, Florida. With over 49 murdered and 53 injured (most of whom were members of the LGBTQ community) it was, at the time, the deadliest mass shooting in US history and a heart-wrenching reminder of the violence the LGBTQ+ community still faces today.
