From the North America OutGames website:

"The North America OutGames is a continental event, held every several years to celebrate equality through the advancement of the LGBTA community.  A lively combination of sports, culture and human rights, OutGames was previously held in Canadian cities in 2007 and 2011.

OutGames is hosted by St. Louis Equality Games, a subsidiary of Team Saint Louis, a 501c3 founded in 1982 to promote health and wellness, encourage people to aspire to their highest level of achievement and stop discrimination.

The 2016 OutGames will be held in St. Louis from May 28 through June 4 at a variety of venues.  With the theme “Equality for All,” the week-long venue will combine competitions from 18 competitive sports, plus workshops and seminars on timely topics, a three day human rights conference, a business expo, numerous cultural festivities and nightly entertainment.  All programs are designed to foster and strengthen belonging and ignite positive change on one of the most pressing challenges of our time.
