LezCruz is primarily a social networking group that addresses the needs of lesbians 40 and over and their friends who live in Santa Cruz or Monterey Counties and outlying areas. In this forum one can inform, inquire and post information about social events as well as topics of practical, personal, professional, and spiritual interest to members. LezCruz proactively creates and organizes events for their members. These events are fun and are intended to be a safe and non-intimidating space for members to meet and enjoy the company of those who share things in common. We respect diversity as well as celebrate our likeness. It is our sincerest intention to propagate friendships and goodwill.

Crisis intervention, support, advocacy, and counseling for women who have experienced domestic violence or sexual assault. Operates a confidential shelter for battered women and their children and offers temporary Restraining Order assistance and accompaniment 24 hours, every day.
