Hosting a Panel

Host a panel at your school or organization and help us create a healthier environment for our community in Santa Cruz County.

 

  • We strive to include five (5) trained speakers in each panel. Panels last approximately one (1) hour.
  • A panel can be booked by calling our office at (831) 425-5422. A Panel can also be booked by downloading this Reservation Form and faxing it to (831) 425-0743.
  • Please note that we need at least three (3) weeks notice in advance of the date on which you'd like us to speak.

Policies & Procedures

Triangle Speakers has adopted the following policies.

 

Grades K-12 only Classroom Policy:

"Rather than explicitly describing sexual acts, it is the purpose of Triangle Speakers to portray the Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual/Transgender person simply as a human being with an orientation or attraction which may include his or her own gender."

 

Hate Crimes:

It is the policy of Triangle Speakers to report all hate crimes directed at its members, staff, or Board that are incurred as a result of their affiliation with Triangle Speakers. This includes verbal harassment as well as physical assault. Each such instance is to be reported to the Traingle Speakers organization at our voicemail number as well as to the Santa Cruz Police Department. The Board and/or the Triangle Speakers staff will provide assistance or support to any member who is subjected to and/or wants to report a hate crime that they feel is related to their affiliation with Triangle Speakers.
