Triangle Speakers

"changing heart and minds, 5 stories at a time."

Triangle Speakers is a program that serves the Santa Cruz community by eliminating fear, prejudice, and hatred against Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgendered (GLBT) individuals so that a healthy environment exists for everyone in our community.

We do this by training speakers who then sit on panels to speak from their own personal experiences in order to dispel myths and stereotypes of the GLBT community. Each panel consists of a Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, and Allies individual. We host panels across Santa Cruz County (as well as neighboring cities) in middle schools, high schools, colleges & universities, and many other organizations.

Once trained, you are a speaker for life. We will contact you monthly and weekly with a list of panels you can be a part of. We ask that you commit to do at least 3 panels per year. You can do whatever fits your schedule.

To participate in the training (at no cost), please contact us.

To host an educational panel in your classroom, business, or organization, please contact us. Our services are free but we gladly appreciate stipends to continue making our services available.
