Additional parking available at 500 Plum St (Hardy Insurance) 1/2 block before the Brookvale Terrance entrance.

Program

Gardening: Bring some starters from your garden to propagate. We’ll set up a table for exchanging cuttings so start some new plants in small pots to share with others or just snip a few off plants in your garden that needs to be cut back. Let’s share our bounty. Also, if you have a photo of your garden that you’d like to post on the “Garden Photo Board”, please bring that too.

Panel Presenters:

Sally Stoik: local landscape architect, will discuss the elements of design and what may need to be updated for comfort and safety as we age. Sally has 18 years of professional design and planning experience specializing in residential landscape and garden design.

Cobra: Radical Faeries gardener extraordinaire, will share his ideas for vegetable and herb gardens in both containers and raised planting beds.

Ruth Stiles: arborist and environmental gardener, will talk about the value of trees on our property, planting trees as your legacy, as well as how to use less toxic pest control in our gardens, for your health and the health of our planet.
