Serenity Out in the Open is a fundraising dinner being held by Young Queer Alliance, a youth activist group, in order to raise enough money so that no youth is turned away from an event he or she wishes to attend such as the Youth Empowerment Summit, Leadership Training Events, Various Gay Day & Pride events, etc.
Dinner will be accompanied by an entertaining, educational, and informative show, along with a display of art and creativity from some of our very own queer youth in the community. Volunteers are also needed for the event. We need help with Friday afternoon/evening food preparation, afternoon cooking, the setup, and cleanup. Contact queeryouth@diversitycenter.org for volunteer opportunities.
