Youth: Out In Our Faith
On May 15th, 2005, "Youth: Out In Our Faith" welcomed youth 13-18 at the
First Congregational Church, United Church of Christ in Santa Cruz for an
interfaith program regarding various religions and their view on Gay, Lesbian,
Bisexual and Transgender (GLBT) issues. Teens and clergy of GLBT-friendly
congregations and communities were joined with teens from the community.
"Youth: Out In Our Faith" is a program of Out in Our Faith 2, an award winning
multi-faith series of worship services and workshops to celebrate and promote
the full inclusion of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered (GLBT) people
in the life of Santa Cruz County area worship congregations and communities.
Co-sponsored by STRANGE; The Santa Cruz County Task Force for LGBTIQ Youth;
& SCOTY (Santa Cruz Organization of Temple Youth, affiliated with Temple
Beth El.
Funded by the Community Foundation of Santa Cruz County and Temple Beth El/Jewish Community Center.
