Affiliates We Sponsor

As a non-profit corporation we also sponsor several Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender projects and organizations throughout Santa Cruz county. We consider them our affiliates (fiscal sponsorship). Our affiliates are organizations which have projects that meet our goals, but do not have the resources to acquire independent 501(c)(3) status.

The affiliate organization forms its own operating board, and the Diversity Center acts as fiscal agent for the organization. These affiliation agreements streamline costs such as insurance, tax accounting, etc. and it promotes a spirit of cooperation in our community while working toward a common goal.

We presently offer fiscal sponsorship to the following Center Affiliates:

 

The Diversity Center is open to offering an affiliate program to groups that are alligned with the Center's mission and wish to have the benefits of non-profit status without the work required to start a new organization.
